Editor in Chief
The Editor and founder of Chileno is Dr Matthew Owens who has had a passion for all things Chilean since he married into a Chilean family, living between the UK and Chile. Matthew is a freelance writer, who corresponds and writes for The Santiago Times and is also an academic research consultant who has spent over 4 years at the University of Cambridge with an interest in psychological processes and common psychiatric problems in young people such as anxiety and depression.
He has published widely on these issues predominantly in peer-reviewed academic journals such as the prestigious Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the British Journal of Psychology and PLOS ONE.
